I understand, A few years back, we had a guy who worked in the Infirmary at the Farm (Bethel Elder). He was married to a very nice sister, and he was used on a lot of Bethel Judicial Committees. Well, shorty after he participated in disfellowshipping someone for wrongdoing and they immediately had to leave the Farm. This same Bethel Elder got caught up in greedy porn of all sorts. Unlike the others who are asked to leave immediately, they gave him 30 days to leave, He told everyone he had to go home and help his family. They threw him going away parties and did not inform the local congregation that he was deleted as an Elder. So they let him leave with all his glory because he was one of the good old boys. I was floored to see this happen because the guy was righteous over much. The moral of the story is, they make the rules and with having absolute power--they bend them when they wish. Here is a clue for the ex-bethelites---he was a shubby and educated and his wife was from another country--he was a medicine guy if you get my drift. He is now serving as an Elder again out west.

Daniel,
That reasoning is very solid, Bethelite Elder is not a Bethelite or an Elder, in fact he is the security guy at the house WBTS built in San Diego for the return of the Saints. At least he has job security right, good job! Also Penny2 is not really a penny or 2 cents, and flipper is not really a dolphin, and shopaholic has never ever been shopping.
And based on that same reasoning, we now have to question whether those claims about child abuse among the organization are true?
Because as aligot put it,
Elders
- he will have to report to his hierarchy about his handling of the JC .
- whatever one may say, he has a conscience.
so surely no elder or PO would do wrong-------
and this story about Mel was taken from an earlier post too

Missing Link, you are right on point and knowledgeable about organization procedures. Thanks for covering that point, I could not have said it better myself. It is almost as if you witnessed this situation first hand.

Mr, Flipper you are on target. I was just trying to give you guys a heads up. I know that there are some people here; trying to heal from various things that happened in their lives. I also see that there are some on this post that are bitter, and have allowed religion and other things to consume them. I hope this story and experience bring comfort to those that have been hurt and unheard. Daniel, thanks for bringing some good reasoning ability to the post as well. Now this is a true but sad story and someone reached out to tell him about this post. Now, I doubt whether or not he will join if he reads some of these comments. Anyway, as I mentioned before, he is a really nice and smart guy that has helped a lot of people. He went to Bethel young like everyone else; thinking that if you got hurt--you would at least have a true support system in place or health insurance. When he got hurt, that's when the curtains came down. Is that Watchtower's fault, who cares? It was his fault because he trusted a system without doing his homework beforehand. They have you sign your life over on your first day with no commitment on their end. He just listened to what the local friends and the watchtower said about Bethel and a spiritual Paradise. So, I apologize for saying, Breaking News: Big Trouble with the Watchtower. Also, this is no story to crumble Watchtower;(if 1879, 1914, 1925, 1933, 1935, 1975--This generation-that generation, the pyramids, Ray Franz, J. Rayford, and all the convenient new light, and etc.) If this doesn't wake people up, nothing will. The moral of the story is-- you have to make informed decisions in life because you are the one that have to live with it. This post is a good example of how differently people respond to events that happen. Some readily start saying weird things, and others who read the same words, immediately start expressing compassion. Also, I would like to apologize to Mel Smith for mentioning his name, he did not grant me permission to state the things that I observed. Please forgive me.......

Evidently, he was hurt while serving at the Farm and Watchtower did some horrible things to him. Now there is a major legal issue and they disfellowshipped him so as to discredit him among the rank and file. I hear that he is very sharp and was offered a major book deal. On top of that, he is being sort to appear on Oprah and 48 hours. I am unsure if he will agree to do it, although I think it would be awesome.
Here is how they took him out. The chairman/ PO sent him a certified letter with a blank sheet of paper inside; to supposedly invite him to a Judicial Committee. A week later he received a vist by two brothers, informing him that he was disfellowshipped for not attending the Judicial Meeting (that the certified letter supposedly contained an invitation). I have never heard of something so crazy.
He has tons of letters and facts about the society that would blow your mind. He even has letters where some of the Brothers at Bethel that handled his case apologized for doing him wrong when he had surgery and laughing at him while in pain. The Brother that signed the one letter is an assistant to the Branch Committee. This is the same guy that was on his Judicial Committee. I just hope he speaks out, so that people can see the real truth. This is the worst story I have ever heard in regards to the Religious Order of Jehovah's Witnesses.
P.S. In the last year he had been invited to 5 Judicial Committees from the Watchtower that all were proven wrong, and so the played the old O K Dokey and forced him out.

Was Adam a Neanderthal or a Homo Sapien?

Sorry, they have covered that base already with the anointed not being sealed as yet. Also, they will drop some new light that will keep the sheep from kicking up dust. It will work for a time and time will tell the truth.
